The Brighton Language College will welcome you with open arms, in a family atmosphere that guarantees to help your learn and meet new people.
Since 1995, the school has been offering quality programmes, and since 2015 it has moved into a new building offering state-of-the-art modern facilities and is located in the city center, overlooking the city, the Royal Pavilion and is just 2 minutes from Brighton Pier.

The Brighton Language College will welcome you with open arms, in a family ambiance that guarantees you an atmosphere conducive to learning and meetings. Since 1995, the school has been offering quality programmes and since 2015 has moved to a new building offering state-of-the-art modern facilities. Stays for teenagers from 12 to 17 years old.

Transfer from/to Heathrow/Gatwick airport
In Brighton you will stay in a double room with a host family. The school always tries to place two students with different mother tongues in order to maximise the amount of English spoken.
Host families are within a 20-minute bus ride from the school and the bus pass is included in the price, however, the majority of host families are within walking distance of the school.
The host families are carefully selected and will welcome you with open arms to share their life and culture.

This is a sample programme. Activities and excursions can vary significantly depending on the weather, or other factors that are beyond our control.
Activities
In addition to classes, the school offers a varied leisure programme. Four afternoons a week, activities will be offered to allow you to practice your knowledge outside of class, and to allow you to have a good time with your new friends. Your afternoons will include sports activities (such as sea kayaking, rock climbing & beach volleyball), as well as cultural activities, including a tour of Brighton and various other tours.
Evening programme
To make sure you do not get bored, the school offers various activities three nights a week.
Activities include movie night, bowling, a boat ride and the inevitable disco, without which we can't end your stay in style!
You will also have free evenings to spend time with your host family and get to know them better.
Excursions
- The programme also includes a half-day excursion and a full-day excursion every week
- Half-day tours include Chichester or Arundel Castle
- On Saturday you and your new friends can enjoy the capital by visiting the main attractions that London has to offer - and, of course, you'll have time to do some shopping! (Excursions to London every fortnight)
Transfer from the airport
Transfer from London Gatwick or London Heathrow is not included in the price. Please make sure that the arrival at the airport is on Sunday between 9am and 6pm and departure from the airport on Sunday between 11am and 9pm.
Private taxi transfers to and from other airports are available at exta costs which can be found in the booking form.
Please let us know your flight details at least 20 days before departure so that your flight transfer can be arranged accordingly.
Please note that the airport transfer on Sundays is used by several participants from different destinations, which can result in a maximum waiting time of 4 hours. On departure you will be brought to the airport at least 2 hours before departure.
Some airlines have strict rules for traveling under the age of 16, and may require them to have an adult present during check-in and departure. Please note the guidelines of your airline before you book. Brighton Language College can not guarantee that a member of the staff will be present if the transfer service for unaccompanied minors has not been booked in advance.
